I made this quesadilla the other night night for myself. I love quesadillas because they are easy to make and I can be creative with them. And they involve cheese which is one of my favorite foods!!!!
Here is what you need
½ cup shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
½ cup shredded Asiago Cheese
¼ cup Crumbled Goat Cheese
2-3 tbsp Butter
2 cloves Garlic
1 Tomato
4 Mushrooms
Flour Tortillas
Shred the sharp cheddar and asiago cheese.
Slice the mushrooms
Chop the garlic.
Dice the tomato.
Melt 2-3 tbsp of butter over medium to high heat.
Sauté the mushrooms in the butter for 5 to 6 minutes.
Then add the garlic and sauté for 2 minutes.
Then add the tomato and cook for about a minute.
Heat your tortilla on medium to high heat and add the crumbled goat cheese to one half of the tortilla.
And the sharp cheddar cheese.
And your asiago cheese.
Then add your mushroom, garlic, and tomato mixture and top with all the cheeses.
Fold the tortilla over and cook until golden brown.
And enjoy!!
I think this recipe could benefit from added ingredients. I love flavor and it was lacking something.....maybe spinach, onions, peppers, m&m's.....not sure, but if you make it with an added ingredient please share with me!!!
