Fifteen Years

Fifteen years ago today my hubby and I said "I do"....and meant it!!!!  It is hard to believe it has been 15 years, but it has been 15 fabulous years.  I love my husband more than ever {because he actually puts up with me is saying something for that man} and I think I can speak for him when I say that he loves me just as much {he would say he loves me more}.

With it being our anniversary it makes me think back all those years ago.  We got married when I was 18....YEP....18 years old.  My husband was 21 and turned 22 a week later {on the day I graduated from High School.....YEP....I said High School}.  We were soooo young!!!!  My husband had hair and I had 35 less pounds to lug around and we were in love {and still are}.  Several people thought we would have a baby in a short 9 months, but that was not the case we did not "have" to get married.  We were young and in love and ready to start our life together.

My husband had bought the farm the summer he graduated from high school and so he was pretty well set with a job.  We decided I would not go to college either {a decision we both regret now.... remember we were very young....we both wish we would have went}.  We live in a very small town with not a lot of job opportunities so I was going to help on the farm and one day be a stay at home for the most part mom.  That was our plan anyhow.  The old guy my husband bought the farm from told him "just because you didn't go to college doesn't mean you won't pay for an education".  Oh how we have found that statement to be true.....more than once!!

So here we are 15 years later still living our dream!!!

Raising our four children our our farm.  And still asking the Lord to keep his hand upon us.

And we couldn't be happier!!!!!!!!!!!  Happy Anniversary to my wonderful husband!!!

P.S.  Is it crystal or a clock that I should get for a 15 year anniversary gift?!?!?
